TrueBuilts ("we", "us") is a construction app made by TrueNorth Builders. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
Account information — your name, email, company name, and password (passwords are stored securely and we never see them in plain text).
Your project data — the projects, plans, photos, take-offs, tasks, estimates, and billing information you create or upload in the app.
Basic usage and device information — things like app version and error logs that help us keep the app working.
How we use it
To provide the app, save your work, and sync it across your devices.
To let you share specific jobs with the team members and subcontractors you choose.
To provide support and to fix problems.
How we store and protect it
Your data is stored in the cloud with our hosting provider (Supabase) using industry-standard security, and it is encrypted while moving between your device and our servers. We restrict access so that one company cannot see another company's projects.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data:
With the people you invite to a job (your team and subcontractors), based on the access you give them.
With service providers who help us run the app — for example cloud hosting (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery (Resend). They only handle data to provide their service to us.
If required by law.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles that securely.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your information inside the app.
You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or delete your whole account, by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your account and associated project data, except where we must keep records to meet legal obligations.
To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email help@truebuilts.com and we will respond promptly.
Children
TrueBuilts is a business tool for construction professionals. It is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
